Today Signature Theatre Company was joined by artists, supporters, and
friends on the site of its future home to celebrate the construction of
the Signature Center. The Honorable Michael R. Bloomberg, Mayor of the
City of New York, along with City Council Speaker Christine C.
Quinn, Bruce Beal of the Related Companies, Playwright Tony Kushner,
and Jim Houghton, Founding Artistic Director of Signature Theatre
Company, welcomed the more than 100 guests on site to mark the continuing construction of the Signature Center on West 42nd Street.
